She has shot a number of covers for Riverside Magazine and its sister publication, Inland Living.

Here’s a little bit about Monster Media Inc.

Monster Media, Inc. is a large and grand format digital print company based in Riverside, CA. We pride ourselves on providing excellent service along with direct wholesale pricing. How It All Began…

In 1999, a chance encounter with a friend set Derric Swinfard (Owner) on a path that would lead to the company Monster Media Inc. is today. This friend who worked for a digital printing business happened to show Derric a banner they had printed for Volcom, who coincidentally is a current client of ours. Curious and impressed, Derric asked his buddy how much the printers cost that made the banner and his friend gave him the contact information on where to buy such a printer. He made the call and the next thing you know, a printer was set up in Derric’s spare bedroom.

To get the business going Derric decided to look to Osiris, since he was currently working there. He began to take on all of their trade show and point of purchase printing needs at the time. Word soon started to spread about Derric’s new business venture, and the ten years he had spent in the Action Sports industry establishing relationships and working began to benefit him. All of the good friends he had made during those years happened to work at a variety of different companies in the industry. Soon all of these friends were giving him their business. The company grew and grew, doubling the amount of business each year until Derric decided to buy Monster Media’s first “grand format” 8′ Mimaki printer.

This is when the company really started to take off. Derric kept putting every penny back into the business and continued to grow and build a very strong client base that has made Monster Media Inc. who we are today. The digital technology employed has also grown and evolved to include three 10’ Jeti solvent printers, a flat bed digital printer, 2 HPs, a Roland print to cut, a CNC router and 2 laminators.

Monster Media has grown from one spare bedroom to a 15,000 square foot building, from one 8′ Mimaki printer to three 10 Jeti solvent printers and from one man curious about a banner to a staff of twenty employees and growing!

A little about CMG Cosmetics and their founder Christina M. Gaudy

Christina M. Gaudy is an Inland Empire native with over 15 years in the beauty industry. In her early years as an artist, she traveled all over Southern California on National Artistry Teams representing companies like Borghese and Christian Dior, doing fashion/trend shows, on-floor trainings, and special event artistry for Nordstrom and Bloomingdales. This allowed her to work with women of all different ages, backgrounds, skin types and skin tones and helped set the stage for her current work. Holding multiple certifications in make-up application, including airbrush specialist from the Make-up Designory in LA and the coveted MAC Pro membership, Christina’s work can be seen frequently in many local ads and publications. (Credits for her film work can be found at imdb.com) Since 1999, Christina has been considered a bridal make-up expert. Now offering custom-blend airbrush foundation for face and body, only a limited number of brides are booked each year.

We CAN-CERvive art benefit will truly be an opportunity for “ordinary people to do something extraordinary in supporting JJCCC with gifts of their treasure, time and talents” (JJCCC website). I believe this event will be a meaningful way for me and other individuals to personally leave the world a better place than the way we found it. It is my hope that through these efforts the Jonathan Jaques Children’s Cancer Center will gain financial support to continue its efforts in cancer treatment, research and support programs — that is the Jonathan Jaques legacy. It is also my hope that the event will be an evening of art appreciation, exposure to local artists and promote a sense of charity and volunteerism.
